New exit off of Potto at Doyle dirt road. Horse Trails near the end require strong visual focus and weak nostril flaring. Last mile & a half has 2-way traffic with Section E, pink. Follow Ultra signs into Hell Creek Ranch Aid Station. Drop Light Zone and Support Access.

Everyone into the muck this year but shorter swamp route than the relay. New exit from ranch, new route to Monks crossing. New aid station in back yard. Less confusing. Easy horse trails until the swamp. Ultra has shorter way through the muck than Relay. New ending is easy rail trail, backyard, road, and 2nd backyard to aid station, which is 2-way traffic against Section D-Pink. Aid station at Nielsen’s Review Exchange. Marginal Support Access.

The path to Hell is the river of death, “Styx”. Your tormented soul is ours. New color is PINK. First 1.5 miles has 2-way traffic in opposition of Section B-Yellow. Cool off in the Hell Creek, life jacket or swim wings optional. If a shoe comes off, just reach into the mud, there are plenty of them in there. Hell Hole Bar is a good place to mail a postcard for the HELL postmark! Bag Drop Zone at end of section. Move used bag to the Drop Dead Bag Zone for return to Half Moon.

Brutal uphill road and whacked Buttslider trail of rock piles and whipsaws. Followed by a casual downhill on Poto to Silver Lake Aid. Merges with Relay 2 (Pink) about a half mile in. The section begins in the blazing fury of Hell and finishes with an optional cool splash in the lake.

The regions of Hell conceived of as a bottomless pit. At corner end of parking lot, follow Ultra -PINK, right. (Relay turns left on pink and yellow). Enjoy the skin treatment of the suspicious looking stuff in The Abyss. Pop out onto the Poto and in a bit merge with Relay out to the aid station at end of Scout Camp single track. No Support Access.

Down the gravel road and start climbing. Hug a tree on the slamming downhills. About 1.5 miles in, follow ULTRA signs to the right-East, not Relay straight. At 2.2 miles you'll join back up with the relay and head into the woods. Flat but hot prairies and low woods. Dirty, hot road to the farm where you can grab a shower. Bag Drop Zone. Support Access.

A few more hills for your enjoyment. Careful attention to turns as it's really a bad time to go off course. Merges with Section G for last ¾ mile on the Crooked Lake Trail and hard right to Half Moon. As you enter Half Moon stay to the left along the lake side to 50M finish. Relay stays right.
